		<description>Hi Linda. I appreciate your comment. Unfortunately, there isn&#039;t always a way to convince someone to change their beliefs, even if we belief they are false. So there may be no &quot;answer&quot; you can provide, other than saying that you disagree (if you in fact do disagree). 

Personally, I believe that it&#039;s entirely possible to practice tai chi without compromising Christian beliefs.   Many people enjoy the exercise and calmness it provides.  If someone were to worry about the basis for it or the beliefs of those who promote it, then they should also worry about the pagan roots of Christmas and Easter.</description>

		<description>How can we apply Tai Chi to control and direct conscious and subconscious thoughts to accomplish things.

For example, I need to study for the CPA exam to get a secure job.
Consciously I try to study for the exam but it&#039;s a major struggle and not because the exam is difficult, it is not. I believe on a subconcious level I don&#039;t want to work in the accounting field.

How can a person integrate the dichotomy between the conscious and subconscious thoughts in order to accomplish things we may not really like but we must in order to survive.</description>
